The Assistant Construction Project Manager will:

• Estimate project work and kick off new projects with the team.
• Support the project bidding process.
• Build a project plan to track the activities to ensure the project is on time and within budget parameters set at the start
• Participate in the quote and RFP process and submit to new customers Understand the submittal process.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and communicate with key team members and leaders.
• Communicate internally and externally with contractors, customers, vendors, and other management throughout the project.

Assistant Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Experience in managing projects with high attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take initiative and accept responsibility for assigned tasks
• Experience with MS Office

• Minimum two years of construction industry experience preferred
• A degree in Construction Management, Design, or Engineering a plus
• Ability to work on-site in the New Jersey area.
