Job Summary : Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring a service technician to join a well-established and locally owned retailer in Whatcom County. Compensation:

• Starting at $23.00/HR

• Monday- Friday, hours to be determined

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and repairing appliances in customers’ homes
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure appliances are in working conditions
• Document and report all activities and maintain accurate repair records
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide repair status
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and industry best practice
• Read and understand schematics
• Handyman mindset
• Move and lift up to 100lbs
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Clean driving record
• Certification in a relevant technical field
• This is a safety-sensitive position, and a federal drug screen is required
